Eberl Trocknungsanlagen GmbH is a German manufacturer of vacuum wood kilns and industrial drying systems. The company is based in Bodenkirchen, in Lower Bavaria, southern Germany, and has been designing its equipment since 1998. Over the years it has established itself as a leading name in vacuum wood drying on the German-speaking market, where it presents itself as a pioneer of the technology. Eberl's core business is the design and manufacture of energy-efficient drying solutions built around its proprietary eDry technology. Its heat-pump vacuum kilns recover heat during the dehumidification phase and, on some models, run with no heating or water connection. This expertise covers every species, from construction timber to hardwoods and softwoods such as beech, spruce, oak, pine, maple and larch. The range is built around the V-Premium (heat-pump), V-Comfort and V-Basic vacuum kilns, suited to volumes ranging from a few cubic meters to around a hundred. It also includes Air Classic drying containers, steam kilns, bulk-material dryers, and special-purpose machines and custom systems, including heat-treatment ovens. Eberl also produces equipment for the medical, biotechnology and chemical sectors. The company builds its positioning on innovation and energy efficiency, and is expanding into international markets, notably Peru and Mexico.
