Description
The Baljer & Zembrod log handling gantry, or gantry crane, complements the range of electrically driven rail-mounted trolleys with a very long-reach solution. Like the RUW handling trolley, it was developed specifically for fast log handling in log yards. Thanks to the crane that moves transversely on the gantry, a reach of more than 50 m can be achieved, making it possible to serve large storage and sorting areas without multiplying machines. Its electric drive provides reduced energy and maintenance costs, as well as clean and quiet operation. Robust and wide-coverage, the handling gantry is aimed at sawmills and large log yards looking for a wide-radius, economical and durable wood handling and sorting solution, to serve several lines from a single structure.
