Initial Range is one of the oak flooring ranges offered by Chêne de l'Est, a French family-owned company that has designed and manufactured all of its flooring at its own production and finishing sites for more than 60 years. An entry-level range designed to make oak flooring affordable. In engineered wood flooring, a solid oak wear layer is bonded to a stabilised multi-ply backing, for better dimensional stability and easier laying, in particular over underfloor heating. This set-up guarantees full traceability of the timber and a consistent standard on every batch produced.
