Green and part-seasoned oak structural timber

Description

A specialist in oak structural timber, Scierie Roger produces squared sections green from the saw as well as part-seasoned / air-dried, with a permanent stock of more than 1,600 m³. The standard sections run from 10 x 10 to 50 x 50 cm and are available immediately, resawing and cutting to list being carried out to order. Part-seasoning is open-air drying over several years: under the effect of the seasons, the timber releases its tannins, loses moisture and gains stability. Production is exacting — boxed-heart sawing to avoid cupping, storage by section and length, sticks between each row to let the timber breathe. QPA / QP1 grade, Bois de France oak from the Centre-Val de Loire.
