Scierie Roger

Scierie Roger is a French company specialized in sawmilling and timber trading, based in Ingrannes, in the Loiret department, in the heart of the Orléans forest. Founded in 1877 by Charles Roger, the company has spanned six generations, evolving from a small local building-materials trader to a national and international presence. The sawmill was established in the Orléans forest under the impetus of Pierre Roger, while the activity gradually diversified into forestry operations, tiling, and other materials. Its current legal structure, SAS Roger, has been registered since 1957 and has kept its historic headquarters in Patay. Scierie Roger now processes more than 10,000 m³ of oak logs per year, sourced from the Orléans forest, and ensures distribution throughout France as well as internationally. Its product range includes sawn timber, strips, timber framing, flitches, landscape sleepers, logs, and firewood. The company also manufactures flooring, solid and engineered, as well as products for outdoor landscaping such as decking and cladding. Scierie Roger places its production within a sustainable forest management approach, with PEFC and Bois de France certifications, reinforcing six generations of family roots in the oak sector of the Orléans forest.
