This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain and protect the personal information of visitors, buyers and companies present on the Site (together, the “Users”), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).
The version in force is always available on the Site. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you, and we will ask for your consent again where it is required.

Depending on your choices (see article 6), we record the pages you view, your searches and the date of your visits, linked to a browser identifier or to your account. The technical data required for the operation and security of the Site (IP address, browser type) is processed in all cases, without being used to track you.
We also keep anonymous counters, with no cookie or identifier (for example: the number of views of a company page, or searches that returned no results). They cannot be used to identify you and do not require your consent.
3. Use of data and legal bases

6. Cookies and trackers
6.1 Definition
Cookies and trackers are small files or identifiers stored in your browser (cookies, local storage) when you visit the Site.
6.2 Your choices, purpose by purpose
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, decline or customise your choice. Declining is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about your browsing. No tracker that requires your consent is set before you answer.
| Purpose | What it is used for | Services | Your consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session, language, sign-in, and storing your choices (cookies, notifications, alerts) | WoodPartners | Always on |
| Audience measurement | Page views, searches and journeys, to improve the Site | Google Analytics, Hotjar, WoodPartners | Your choice |
| Personalised suggestions | The pages you view are used to suggest similar manufacturers and products, on the Site and, if you have enabled browser notifications, by notification one week after your visit | WoodPartners | Your choice |
| Advertising | Measurement of our campaigns and advertising tailored to your interests | Google Ads, Meta | Your choice |
Your choice applies to this site and this browser, for 6 months. You can change it at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw your consent to a purpose, the corresponding trackers are erased from your browser.
7. Browser notifications
If you allow it in your browser, the Site may send you notifications: replies to your requests and messages, alerts you have created and, for companies, information about their activity on the Site. Personalised suggestions are only sent if you have also accepted that purpose (article 6).
You can turn notifications off at any time in your account settings, in your browser’s site settings, or by unticking “Tips and opportunities” to keep only the notifications related to your exchanges.
8. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- the right of access to your data;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to object, in particular to direct marketing;
- the right to data portability;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- the right to give instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death;
- the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL — www.cnil.fr).
To exercise these rights, write to contact@woodpartners.fr or by post to: WoodPartners SARL – 41 rue du Télégraphe, 75020 Paris, France. We will reply within one month.
9. Protection of minors
The Site is aimed at professionals and is not intended for minors under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data concerning them. If a parent or guardian finds that a minor has provided us with personal data, they may contact us so that we delete it.
10. Legal disclosure
WoodPartners may be required to disclose personal data in connection with legal proceedings, at the request of the competent authorities, or to protect its rights, the security of the Site or that of its Users.
11. Changes
We may amend this Policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you, and we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it, in particular for any new tracker purpose.
