Duo Composite Cladding Board, Wide Open-Joint Effect, 3200 mm

Description

With the Duo profile, each Océwood composite cladding board imitates a wide open joint: two visible boards are drawn into a single profile 210 mm wide (191 mm visible after assembly), 3200 mm long and 21 mm thick, that is 0.61 m² per board. The look of open-joint cladding is obtained without the installation constraints of a real open joint. The material combines flax shives and recycled PVC, sourced less than 100 km from the Vendée workshop, and its Tech.Sture printed finish offers six wood colours: Light Oak, Teak, Ipe, Red Cedar, Natural Oak, Ashen Oak. It is screw-fixed onto class 2 pine battens of at least 27 mm, laid over a breather membrane, with a rodent mesh in accordance with DTU 41.2. The expansion gaps given in the instructions must be observed: 10 mm end-on against the corner finishing profiles, 15 mm before the end profile, screws at least 8 mm from the edge of the slots. Horizontal or vertical installation, in new build or refurbishment.
