Oak logs

Description

Each year, our sawmill processes nearly 20,000 m3 of logs, mainly oak, sourced from PEFC-certified French forests located within a 140 km radius (Aube, Marne, Haute-Marne, Yonne, Nièvre, Loiret). The timber is sorted and graded from the moment it is scaled (cubage) for high-end uses: slicing, staves, figured wood, long structural timbers for historic monuments, or curved wood for marine carpentry. Two dedicated yards—receiving and storage under sprinkling—ensure perfect preservation until processing.
