Ash lumber (flitches and boards)

Description

In addition to oak, the sawmill offers ash lumber in the form of flitches and mixed boards. Ash is a light-colored hardwood, strong and flexible, valued in joinery, interior fitting-out, and furniture making. The timber is kept in stock in the main thicknesses and grades, air-dried or kiln-dried, in order to respond quickly to professionals’ needs. Available thicknesses are 18, 27, 34, 41, 45, 54, 65, 80 and 100 mm. Sorting by color is possible: white ash or grey ash, first or second choice. Selected from French forests, these ash boards provide a light alternative to oak for cabinetmaking and joinery projects.
