Description
The Leica GST120-9 is a wooden tripod for precision surveying: it carries theodolites, total stations and GPS receivers. Its construction is stated as heavy, which places it among setting-up tripods rather than among back-up models. The legs lock automatically, with side locking screws in addition, and the whole is carried on the shoulder thanks to the strap supplied. Folded, the tripod measures 110 cm in length; it extends to 180 cm, which covers the usual sighting heights outdoors. Its weight of 6.4 kg goes with that size. It is aimed at surveyors and setting-out teams working with angle measuring instruments.
