Leica iCON Trades Fit-out measuring software

Description

Leica iCON Trades Fit-out is field software dedicated to measuring and marking tasks in interior construction. It covers the whole 2D and 3D survey process and is aimed in particular at joiners, kitchen fitters, staircase installers and metalworkers. On site, the operator surveys the existing structure using automated procedures such as line and surface scans, then checks immediately on the tablet that all the useful points have indeed been recorded. The as-found drawings obtained are exported in DXF format, usable in a CAD program: the programming of numerically controlled machines is then based on real dimensions and the parts made no longer need reworking on site, which cuts assembly time and offcuts. The interface guides the user step by step, without any particular prior knowledge, including when the instrument is only used occasionally. On-site projection of setting-out points taken from a PDF or CAD drawing completes the arrangement. The software is stated to suit the Leica iCON ICS20 and ICS50 stations.
