Oak boules board (avivé)

Description

Oak boules boards (avivé) are a noble and durable solid wood, appreciated for their natural aesthetics and strength. Selected from sustainably managed French forests, the boules boards are supplied in fixed widths from 110 to 360 mm, in lengths from 0.30 m to 4.00 m depending on the grades, and in a standard thickness of 27 mm (18 mm available in certain grades). They are offered as green wood, air-dried or kiln-dried; kiln-dried timber is stored in three climate-controlled sheds that prevent moisture regain. On request, the sawmill rip-saws to order in flitches and unmatched boards to offer boules boards in 34, 41, 45, 54, 65 and 80 mm. Grading follows the EN 975-1 standard, from QF1A to QF4/5XX, with an Oak Brown variant. The boules boards are intended for flooring specialists, cabinetmakers, staircase makers, kitchen fitters, panel makers and finger-jointers.
