A complete house renovation with Accoya

This typically English family home, at Bishop’s Stortford, has gained a rear extension and a complete restyling under the direction of Pardon Chambers Architects. The ground floor now houses a vast open-plan living space, bathed in light thanks to large glazed areas made possible by Accoya sliding window frames and doors. The bespoke joiner K&D Joinery designed and made this joinery from Accoya supplied by the approved distributor James Latham, with a Teknos finishing system developed in consultation with the architects and the client to harmonise the interior and exterior tones. The exterior cladding, also in Accoya, was delivered profiled and pre-coated by James Latham, bringing visual coherence to the whole house.
