Accoya

Accoya® is a high-performance modified wood produced by Accsys Technologies using a patented acetylation process. Made from fast-growing FSC-certified softwoods, it offers durability and dimensional stability equal to or greater than the best tropical hardwoods, with an environmental footprint superior to many synthetic materials. Launched in 2007, Accoya is used worldwide for windows, doors, decking, cladding and other demanding exterior applications. It is manufactured at the Accsys plant in Arnhem (Netherlands) and in Kingsport, Tennessee (United States), with headquarters in London.
