Salinda Resort, a luxury Accoya beach resort on Phu Quoc

Salinda Resort, a member of the WorldHotels group, is the first and only luxury beach resort on the front line of Long Beach, on the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam. Its owner chose Accoya modified wood for all the exterior finishes of the property: brise-soleil for all the bedroom windows, terraces, handrails, ceiling linings in the communal areas and beach kiosks. The hotel group imposes a very strict specification for the choice of materials; Accoya won out thanks to its durability class 1, the best there is, and strength comparable to teak, ideal in this hot, humid tropical climate. Non-toxic and with a negative carbon footprint, the wood also appeals for its appearance: its grain, its texture and its pale colour give the resort a warm, refined contemporary character.
