Accoya Color Grey cladding in Finistère

In Finistère, a detached house was renovated with 91 m² of Accoya Color Grey timber cladding, after a storm destroyed the old PVC facade. Exposed to the violent winds and frequent rain of the Breton headland, the house called for a material of exceptional durability. Accoya Grey, whose tone runs right through the board, keeps its elegance with no finish and no maintenance, and its high dimensional stability prevents any distortion, including on the chimney rising to 10.50 m. The boards were laid according to the Varibo concept, which alternates different widths for a modern visual effect, with the grad concealed fixing system. Insulation was carried out by Oniram Construction Bois and installation by SARL Bucuri (Frédéric Aubrée), an approved Accoya installer. An ecological alternative to PVC from sustainably managed forests, this renovation gives the facade lasting protection and a contemporary, timeless style.
