Casa Gloria, eating house in Oviedo

Casa Gloria in Oviedo is the urban, relaxed proposal of Esther and Nacho Manzano: a genuine eating house of the old sort with a modern touch, serving Asturian cooking with avant-garde accents. The setting recreates an atmosphere of times past with two long, solid tables and their benches, and a chestnut floor supplied by Siero Lam, with a mix of widths and no finish at all, in the traditional manner. Washing this floor daily with water and bleach lets it acquire a fine grey patina, as well as a non-slip effect.
