Malin Persson's outdoor area

Malin Persson, a Swedish television personality, garden designer and content creator, renovated her own outdoor area using Kebony Clear for both the decking and custom-built outdoor furniture.

The project aimed at a space in harmony with its surroundings, suited to quiet moments and to gatherings alike, with a combined requirement of function, aesthetics and longevity. Deck and furniture, treated in the same material, form a continuous set of natural surfaces designed to withstand the Nordic climate.

Kebony Clear is positioned as a durable alternative to tropical hardwood. The manufacturer highlights a natural appearance, a long service life, maintenance limited to occasional cleaning, Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification and a process developed in Norway. Two profiles were used on the project: 22 x 142 mm decking and 38 x 140 mm boardwalk boards.
