Kebony

Kebony is a Norwegian manufacturer of durable modified wood, founded in 1997. Its patented, bio-based process, Kebony Technology®, transforms softwoods from sustainably managed forests into a high-performance, stable wood, a maintenance-free alternative to tropical hardwoods for decking, cladding, and facades. Over time, the wood develops a natural silver-grey patina while retaining its performance. The headquarters are in Oslo and production is in Skien (Norway) and Flanders (Belgium); Kebony serves architects, designers, and builders through a global distribution network.
