Outdoor furniture, Inland Empire Health Plan, Rancho Cucamonga

Inland Empire Health Plan is a not-for-profit health plan based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Its offices include outdoor areas open to staff and visitors, for which a range of site furniture was purpose-built.

DM Braun and Company supplied that furniture: table tops, bench seats and litter receptacles. The timber elements are made from Kebony Clear, paired with the heavy-duty steel frames that characterise the manufacturer's output.

Kebony modified wood was chosen for permanent, intensive outdoor use: impregnated with a bio-based liquid, it offers high dimensional stability and durability with no finish to reapply. It greys gradually, which limits differences in appearance between elements over time. Works were carried out by Angeles Contractors.
