Proper Hotel in Austin by Delta Millworks

The restaurant entrance of the Austin Proper Hotel, a high-end establishment in downtown Austin, Texas, has been clad in Accoya wood to create a striking, welcoming arrival. The Accoya supplier Delta Millworks, a Texas manufacturer renowned for its exceptional timber finishes, made the Accoya cladding and doors with a natural barn-wood look, bringing an authentic, weathered texture that contrasts with the refinement of the hotel. The art direction is by Kelly Wearstler, the celebrated Californian designer known for eclectic interiors mixing raw materials with contemporary luxury. The choice of Accoya guarantees this busy entrance exceptional durability, great dimensional stability and reduced maintenance, while keeping the look of real wood in an urban setting.
