Acton

Acton is a French specialist in screws, bolting and fasteners, mainly in stainless steel. Founded in 1985 and based in L'Horme, in the Loire (Rhône-Alpes region), the company is incorporated as ACTON SAS. A member of the Emile Maurin family group since 1997, it claims nearly forty years of activity and presents itself as one of the fastener specialists in France and internationally, with distribution in more than fifty countries. The company focuses its expertise on fasteners, particularly in stainless steel, which it promotes under the signature “Stainless for more than 35 years”. It also works with other materials such as steel, nylon and brass, and serves the furniture and interior fitting-out sectors, construction, building, industry and boating. The catalogue covers a wide range of fasteners: wood screws, decking screws, machine screws and threaded rods, self-drilling screws and sheet-metal screws, security screws, nuts, washers, as well as marine hardware accessories, building fasteners, hose clamps and boxed assortments in small packs. Stainless products are notably offered in A2 and A4 grades. Acton also offers tools for woodworking. The company is ISO 9001 certified and relies on a logistics platform of more than 10,000 m² ensuring fast delivery, next-day (D+1) for in-stock products. It is also assessed by EcoVadis, a distinction it highlights in its responsibility approach.
