Buzon

Buzon is a Belgian manufacturer of adjustable pedestals and supports for raised terraces (Buzon Pedestal System). Based in Herstal, in Belgium, in the Hauts-Sarts industrial estate, the company (Buzon Pedestal International) was founded in 1987 by Claude Buzon, who introduced the adjustable terrace pedestal to the market. More than thirty years later, four generations of pedestals have followed one another and the brand is distributed in more than fifty countries through a network of partners. Buzon's core business is the design and manufacture of screw-jack pedestals that raise and level terrace coverings without a concrete slab. The system stands out for its wide height-adjustment range, of around 12 to 955 mm, and for an integrated slope corrector that compensates for the incline of the support to obtain a perfectly horizontal surface. The range is organized around several series: PB pedestals for residential and public terraces, DPH pedestals, as well as the U-BRS and E-BRS joist system. These supports are suitable for terraces on slabs, on aluminium joists, as well as wood or composite decking, including on roofs and sloping ground. An extensive range of finishing accessories completes the offer, accompanied by an online sizing calculator. The pedestals are made of polypropylene and highlighted as recycled and recyclable. The company frames its offer within a demountable and reusable terrace approach, presented as a sustainable alternative to fixed, sealed installations.
