CardoTech is a French manufacturer of custom-made industrial tool brushes. Based in the hamlet of Vallerat, in Sainte-Hlne (Saf4ne-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte9), the company continues an industrial brush-making activity whose family origins date back to 1889, with the firm founded by Ernest Cardot. In its current form, CardoTech was created by Daniel Chainard, who established the production unit in Sainte-Hlne in the late 1990s. Management is now led by Sandrine Chainard. The SME employs around twenty people. The company's core business is consulting, design, manufacturing, and service around the brushing process. It designs technical brushes that meet specific needs not found in standard catalogs, following an approach it sums up as ab specify the right need to define the right answer bb. Woodworking is one of its main application sectors, alongside metallurgy, plastics processing, and the agri-food industry.
