CardoTech

CardoTech is a French manufacturer of custom industrial brush tools. Based in the hamlet of Vallerat, in Sainte-Hélène (Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté), the company carries on an industrial brushmaking activity whose family origins date back to 1889, with the firm founded by Ernest Cardot. In its current form, CardoTech was created by Daniel Chainard, who established the production unit in Sainte-Hélène in the late 1990s. The company is now managed by Sandrine Chainard. The SME employs around twenty people. The company's core business is consulting, design studies, manufacturing and services related to the brushing process. It designs technical brushes that meet specific needs not found in standard catalogs, following an approach it summarizes as “specify the exact need to define the right response.” Woodworking is one of its main application sectors, alongside metallurgy, plastics processing and the agri-food industry. The range includes industrial brushes filled with animal, vegetable or synthetic fibers and metal wire, abrasive discs, as well as wringer, oiler and cylinder rollers, with or without an abrasive coating. CardoTech also offers rebristling, balancing and the manufacture of shafts and mandrels. On the quality side, the company is ISO 9001 certified and highlights a corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach.
