FROMM France

FROMM France is the French subsidiary of the Swiss FROMM Group, specializing in industrial packaging and strapping solutions (straps, strapping, machines). Based in Darois, in Côte-d'Or (Burgundy), the company occupies around 1,400 m² of premises and employs about forty people serving more than 5,000 customers in France. It belongs to the FROMM Packaging Systems Group, a Swiss family-owned company founded in 1947 by Reinhard Fromm, which now brings together more than 40 subsidiaries and around 1,300 people worldwide. On the French market, FROMM France provides the manufacturing, distribution, consulting, installation and after-sales service of the group's equipment. Its core business covers securing and protecting industrial products during transport, from choosing the solution through to its implementation on packaging lines. The catalog includes more than 100 references divided into four families: strapping (plastic and steel strapping, manual, pneumatic or battery-powered tools, semi-automatic and automatic tables), banding (banding machines, robots and orbital solutions), cushioning and protection (patented AIRPAD air cushions, crumpled paper) as well as automated packaging lines. The offering is complemented by consumables (strapping, stretch films, paper) and by study services, technical assistance and samples. FROMM embeds its activity in a « Reduce, Reuse & Recycle » approach and is among the world's major PET recyclers: its STARstrap™ strapping is made from recycled PET. Production sites are ISO 9001 certified, as well as ISO 14001 or ISO 50001 depending on the case.
