Fundermax

Fundermax is an Austrian manufacturer of high-pressure laminate (HPL) panels and compact panels for facades, furniture and interior fittings. The headquarters and main production site are located in St. Veit an der Glan, in Carinthia (Austria), where the company has been processing wood-based materials for more than 130 years. Fundermax is part of Constantia Industries AG, one of the largest private Austrian industrial groups, and employs around 1,500 people. In addition to Austria, the group has kraft paper production sites in Norway and the Netherlands, as well as commercial operations in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France) and the United States. The company has built its expertise on high-pressure compact laminates and wood-based panels, mastering manufacturing from paper to the finished panel. It positions itself as a global benchmark player in facade panels and offers a decorative range for interior fitting-out, aimed at architects, designers, furniture manufacturers and construction professionals. The catalogue includes Max Compact panels for exterior facades and interior applications, raw and melamine-faced particleboards (Star Favorit and Premium Star ranges), HPL laminates, as well as biofibre panels. These products are used in kitchens, furniture, cladding, laboratories and hospital environments. Fundermax embeds its activities in an environmental approach structured around its « Green Deal » and circular economy principles. The wood used comes from FSC- and PEFC-certified suppliers, and the company has an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001, complemented by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
