Hilti France

Hilti is a Liechtenstein manufacturer of professional tools and fastening systems for construction. The group is headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein, where it was founded in 1941 by brothers Martin and Eugen Hilti under the name Maschinenbau Hilti OHG. It now employs around 34,000 staff worldwide and reported a turnover of 6.4 billion Swiss francs in 2024. The French subsidiary, registered since 1971, recently set up its new head office in the Antarès building in Boulogne-Billancourt, where it brings together nearly 1,700 staff of 36 nationalities. Hilti's core business is the design, manufacture and marketing of high-value-added products for construction and renovation professionals, with an approach integrating in-house research, direct sales and technical support for its customers. The range covers power tools (rotary hammers, breakers, chisels, grinders, saws, drill drivers), fastening and anchoring systems for concrete and masonry, diamond drilling and cutting, measuring and detection instruments (lasers, distance meters), firestop and fire-protection solutions, facade-mounting and modular-support systems, as well as chemical products for building. The company also offers dimensioning and project-management software, such as the PROFIS suite, as well as tool-fleet management (ON!Track) and repair services. Hilti highlights its industrial longevity (more than 80 years) and a sustainability approach, notably with a circularity goal ("doing more with less") and photovoltaic installations at its Schaan site.
