itech is a French publisher of structural calculation software for timber construction, civil engineering and wooden pallets. Based in Saint-Maurice, in Val-de-Marne, the company has been publishing and distributing software for structural calculations and regulatory compliance checks since 1986. Its business targets building professionals, carpenters, engineers and technical design offices, as well as the academic world through training programs. The core of the offer for the timber sector is based on ACORD, a structural calculation software designed for sizing beams, trusses, frames, roof structures and timber and mixed structures. The tool covers the specificities of glued laminated timber, CLT and various types of connections, with checks compliant with the Eurocodes (notably Eurocode 5) and the French CB71 rules. ACORD is available in several modules: ACORD-Express for beams, predefined trusses and frames, ACORD-Bat for 2D and 3D structures, ACORD-Connect for timber and metal connections, and an ACORD Mobile app for beam calculations on a smartphone. itech also offers Pallet-Express, a tool dedicated to the design and strength calculation of wooden pallets and crates, as well as civil engineering software (CESAR-LCPC, ALIZE-LCPC, GEO5).
