Lamello is a Swiss manufacturer of wood joining systems and connectors. Based in Bubendorf, Switzerland, the company was founded in 1944 by Hermann Steiner and is still today an independent family-owned business, reportedly run by the third generation. It became known in 1955 with the invention of the wooden biscuit, which gave rise to the joining system that bears its name.
