LIFTOP

Liftop is a French designer and distributor of ergonomic handling solutions, including a range dedicated to lifting and handling panels and wood. Based in Grandchamp-des-Fontaines, near Nantes, the company was born in 1991 from a business selling sectional garage doors. In 2007 it abandoned this trade to refocus on ergonomic handling, a growing niche market. Taken over in 2009 and then, in 2020, by its current manager Frédéric Belamy, it has strongly developed its business in recent years. The company has specialized in load-handling aids, with the aim of reducing operators' musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). For the wood sector, it has developed the Ergo Bois range, designed for handling chipboard, MDF, melamine, OSB or medium panels, as well as beams and solid wood. This range includes vacuum manipulators able to lift, move, tilt or turn panels depending on the model (360° rotation, 90° tilting or 180° turning), with capacities up to 900 kg. It also includes tipping and turning trolleys, lifting tubes and special door clamps. Liftop also offers bespoke solutions, installation, commissioning and equipment maintenance. The equipment is of European manufacture. The company provides an equipment-certification service and preventive-maintenance contracts.
