Simonin Wood Solutions is a French builder specializing in glulam structures and timber components for construction. Based in Montlebon, in the Doubs (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté), the company was founded in 1967 and has been an employee-owned company since 2009. It now brings together around 150 staff and 23 trades under one roof, on a 20,000 m² industrial site equipped with several design offices and CNC machining centers. It is attached to the Ateliers de France group. The core business lies in the design, manufacture and installation of timber structures for demanding architectural projects: buildings, footbridges, public facilities and civil-engineering works. The company masters the entire value chain, from structural study and engineering to production to drawing, testing in an integrated laboratory and installation assistance, in France and internationally. The range covers roof structures and structures (glulam, Résix® concealed connection, CLT and solid wood, timber-steel hybrid structures), insulating sandwich roof panels (Sapisol®, Sapiliège®), floor and partition solutions (Dalle-Bois®, Dalfeu®) and technical claddings (Funlam®, Openlam®, Arcalam®). Many species are worked, from spruce to Douglas fir, and bespoke manufacturing is offered. Simonin highlights the use of natural, local and certified materials for low-carbon structures. The company backs its products with Technical Approvals (ATec), European Technical Assessments (ETA) and CE marking, validated by its integrated self-inspection laboratory.
