Siniat

Siniat is a French manufacturer of plasterboard and dry construction systems, a subsidiary of the Etex group. Founded in 1904 under the name Pltria8res de Vaucluse, created by Ernest Poulet to exploit the gypsum of the Vaucluse, the company grew throughout the 20th century (Ma9riel plants in 1949, Carpentras in 1967, Auneuil in 1973) before becoming part of Lafarge Plaster. In 2011, it was acquired by the Belgian group Etex and adopted the Siniat brand. Its French activity is carried by the entity Etex France Building Performance, which claims eleven production sites and four quarries across the country. Siniat
s core business is the manufacture of gypsum-based products for dry construction: partitions, ceilings, linings, insulation and faade. The company masters gypsum extraction, its processing and the production of boards, and highlights a strong French industrial footprint. The range covers plasterboards in several thicknesses (BA10, BA13, BA15, BA18, BA25), plasters, joint compounds and adhesive mortars, gypsum blocks, metal framing, insulation, as well as exterior panels resistant to moisture such as Aquaboard and Defentex. Siniat also develops reduced-carbon-impact boards (VivaPure) and the RECYPLAC board, presented as being made from recycled gypsum. Siniat positions its activity within a circular economy and gypsum recycling approach, with products certified NF or under CSTB Technical Assessments. The company communicates about Cradle to Cradle certification and environmental actions such as biomass heating and water recycling at its sites.
