Thévenin et Cie

Thévenin et Cie is a French manufacturer of hot-dip galvanized bolts and fasteners. Based in Thilay, in the heart of the Ardennes forest massif, the company is among the oldest French bolting manufacturers: its origins date back to 1900 and it was refocused in 1948 by Jean and Henri Thévenin. Still family-owned, it is now run by Nicolas Thévenin (technical and sales management) and Erik Thévenin (quality, safety, environment). The company manages its production chain in-house: hot forging of diameters from 8 to 52 mm on presses and horizontal machines, integrated hot-dip galvanizing, manufacture of special parts to drawings, and a mechanical testing laboratory. This integration enables it to produce standard fasteners as well as specific series for timber and steel construction. The catalogue covers an extensive range of bolting: hex head and square head bolts and high-strength bolts, special bolts (gendarme head, TRCC, Japy), threaded rods, anchor rods and spacers, nuts, washers and square plates. The range also includes timber fasteners, notably joist hangers, connectors, coach screws and structural bolts, in hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel. Custom manufacturing is available. Beyond production, Thévenin et Cie highlights the responsiveness of its service: quotes processed within the hour and shipment of standard parts within 24 hours. The quality, safety and environment function is handled in-house by management.
