About
LIGNA is the world's leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing machinery, tools and equipment. Held every two years in Hannover by Deutsche Messe, in partnership with the German machinery association VDMA, it covers the whole chain: forestry, sawmilling, panel production, joinery and furniture machinery, surface finishing, tooling, software and automation.
It is where machinery manufacturers unveil their innovations for the next two years. Sawmills, panel producers, joiners, furniture makers and timber builders travel there from all over the world.
The 2025 edition brought together 1,433 exhibitors and close to 78,000 visitors.
