Description

Almost naturally rot-proof wood, acacia is a hard wood, very resistant to humidity and various external attacks (insects, fungi). It integrates perfectly into nature with its irregular cuts. From yellow-green to golden brown taking on an ochre tint under the action of weather and UV, acacia is the only European hardwood used in hazard class 4 without any treatment. The lifespan of acacia is 20 years when in contact with the ground. Originating from European forests, acacia is distinguished by its low environmental impact compared to its exotic competitors. The absence of treatment as well as the proximity of its exploitations make it an ecological wood with a low carbon footprint.
