The Baljer & Zembrod RUW log handling carriage is designed for moving timber in the log yard: handling logs and bolts, feeding the sawmill and managing the sorting lines. With more than fifty years of experience and more than 2,000 machines produced, the manufacturer has developed this rail-mounted electric carriage specifically for handling and sorting. Its electric drive gives energy and maintenance costs far below those of a diesel machine, while providing clean, consistent operation. Fast and accurate, it smooths the feeding of the line and the management of the sorting bays. The RUW handling carriage is aimed at sawmills and log yards looking for an economical, reliable and environmentally friendly way of moving timber, replacing traditional mobile combustion-engine machines.
