Debarkers
Description
The Baljer & Zembrod milling-head debarker carries out simple, "conventional" debarking by milling the surface of the log. This debarking method extends tool life, improves the accuracy of log measurement and makes visual grading of the logs easier, while providing surface pre-drying. Compared with rotor debarkers, the milling debarker has two advantages: a lower initial cost and optimal debarking even on very crooked logs, which the milling head follows faithfully. Robust and economical, it is aimed at sawmills looking for a reliable, affordable debarking solution, particularly suited to irregular timber, ahead of the sorting, measuring and sawing of the logs.
