Debarkers
Description
The Baljer & Zembrod rotor debarker provides optimal debarking of the logs for better grading, more accurate measurement and easier sawing. This debarking method extends tool life, improves the accuracy of log measurement, makes visual grading of the logs easier and provides surface pre-drying. Designed specifically for medium-sized sawmills, these debarkers are available with rotor openings of 90, 100 and 110 cm, which makes them particularly suited to long timber. The version fitted with the "variopress" system allows the pressure of the tool arms on the log to be adjusted, to suit species and diameters and to protect the timber. Robust and accurate, it is aimed at sawmills looking for careful, consistent debarking at the head of the sawing line.
