Description
Menuiseries Berthaud entrance doors are made one at a time, from a sketch supplied by the customer, in a contemporary, rustic, solid or glazed register. Four species are offered: bossé, oak, larch and pine. The standard external profile is the ogee, completed by the large-frame moulding, the putty-look slope and the 15 slope; the shapes range from square-headed to full round arch, segmental arch, basket-handle arch and trapezoid. The ironmongery relies on Exacta hinges and a 3 or 5 point espagnolette, with rustic hinge covers, marshal's baton, panic bar or fire-brigade espagnolette as options. Weathertightness combines a double seal on the frame and on the leaf, silicone caulking and an aluminium threshold at the bottom. The 28 mm Warm-Edge double glazing is standard, triple glazing being feasible only in certain cases. The Ud ranges from 1.4 to 2 W/(m².K) depending on the species and the glazing. The Naboco finish is guaranteed 10 years in opaque colours and 6 years in wood tones.
