Berthaud MB 58 and MB 68 overlapping sash timber window

Description

Made to measure and compliant with the Fenêtres Bois 21 quality charter, the overlapping sash joinery from Menuiseries Berthaud comes in the MB 58 and MB 68 ranges. The timber is chosen from four species — bossé, oak, larch or pine — and the frames come in square-headed, full round arch, segmental arch, basket-handle arch, trapezoid and bull's-eye shapes. The standard glazing is 28 mm double glazing (4/20/4) with Warm-Edge spacers; triple glazing is offered only in the MB 68 range, and any other type of glazing (acoustic, burglar-resistant, solar control, patterned) remains feasible. Weathertightness relies on a double seal on the frame and on the leaf, with silicone caulking and concealed fixing of the glazing beads. The Uw coefficient ranges from 1.3 to 1.6 W/(m².K) in MB 58 and from 1.1 to 1.6 W/(m².K) in MB 68 depending on the species and the glazing. The factory finish under Naboco licence is guaranteed 10 years in opaque colours and 6 years in wood tones, maintenance-free.
