Custom-made Berthaud wood-aluminium mixed window

Description

The mixed range combines an aluminium cladding on the outside and timber joinery on the inside, bringing together the low-maintenance benefits of lacquered profiles and the warm look of wood on the room side. It is particularly aimed at large openings and sliding units. The inner frame is made of oak, larch or paint-grade pine; the inner profile features a 15° slope, and the outer cladding can be chosen between a 15° slope (standard) and an ogee profile. Available shapes are straight, full arch, segmental arch, trapezoid and bull’s-eye, the latter only in a fixed version. Weatherproofing uses a triple seal: frame, sash and aluminium cladding. Standard glazing is 28 mm Warm-Edge double glazing, with thickness up to 48 mm for triple glazing. Uw ranges between 1.2 and 1.6 W/(m².K) depending on the timber species and glazing. Aluminium is available in the RAL colour chart and in twenty wood-effect finishes, with Qualicoat and Qualimarine labels on the lacquered profiles.
