Membranes & barriers
Description
The FH FORTE vapour control layer is a translucent, flexible film designed to provide airtightness in roof, ceiling and wall construction. It is particularly suited to building elements that are diffusion-open towards the outside. It is ideal for refurbishment projects using the Sub-Top method or for construction requiring good water vapour management. Key features: Type of vapour control layer: economical and translucent. Sd value range: 2 (± 1) m. Advantages: Supple and flexible for easier installation. Optimised drying potential towards the inside in summer. Applications: Roofs and walls. Construction that is diffusion-open towards the outside. Refurbishment using the Sub-Top method. Specific recommendations: For construction that is more airtight on the outside (e.g. flat roofs), a technical assessment is advisable using software such as WUFI, with the assistance of the ISOCELL technical advisers. Technical performance: Longitudinal elongation (EN 12311-1): > 50%. Transverse elongation (EN 12311-1): > 60%. Longitudinal tensile strength (EN 12311-1): > 210 (-30) N/50 mm. Transverse tensile strength (EN 12311-1): > 180 (-40) N/50 mm. Longitudinal tear resistance (EN 12310-1): > 180 (-30) N. Transverse tear resistance (EN 12310-1): > 230 (-40) N. Temperature resistance: -40 to 80 °C. Weight: 120 g/m². Fire classification (EN 13501-1): E.
