The Futech Multicross 8 HPSB Green stands out with its electronic levelling, more accurate than the usual pendulum levelling: the stated accuracy is 1 mm at 10 m. It projects eight green lines, four horizontal and four vertical, with 90° squaring and a plumb function, on a rotating base allowing a full 360° turn. The pendulum lock allows work on a slope. In pulse mode, the instrument talks to a receiver such as the Futech Line Tracer, which takes the range up to 50 m. Power comes from a lithium battery, backed by an alkaline battery holder and a mains adapter that takes over when the cells are flat. IP54 protected and class 2M rated, it suits indoor and outdoor applications. The carry case, the charger, glasses, a target and a 5/8 thread tripod adapter come with the instrument, which carries a two-year warranty.
