The HECO-TOPIX-plus 8 × 240 mm is a structural screw with a round head, Torx (HECO-Drive/T-Drive) recess. The 8 × 240 mm model pairs a thread under the head with an A2/A4 stainless steel execution for a joint that holds over time. Its point penetrates the wood without a pilot hole and limits splitting near the edges, including at the reduced spacings of the 8 × 240 mm size. This 8 × 240 mm size is intended for outdoor work — decking, cladding and joinery exposed to the weather. At 8 × 240 mm, the HECO-TOPIX-plus falls under European Technical Assessment ETA-19/0553, completed by SKH approval. Packed in a box of 50 pieces, it is made by HECO under item number 61882.
