Drying kilns
Description
The mac_Hybrid from Incomac combines conventional drying and condensation drying in a single installation, in order to use the available electrical and thermal energy in the most efficient way. Depending on the case, this approach avoids new investment in a boiler or reduces it to a minimum, which limits permitting procedures and the associated maintenance costs. By drawing on both techniques, the installation aims for greater drying capacity and better performance than a single-technology kiln. The manufacturer reports a reduction of around 50% in atmospheric emissions and of 30% in thermal energy consumption compared with a conventional solution alone. This configuration is aimed at operations looking to secure their drying throughput while keeping control of their energy bill and their environmental impact.
