Description
MS BOIS framing timber comes from PEFC-certified French forests and is entirely processed in France, which earns it the Bois de France label. Intended for timber frame walls, extensions and roof raises, it is produced in Douglas fir and in fir/spruce. Each piece is kiln-dried to 18% ± 2% and planed on four faces with chamfers, for the dimensional stability and the accurate fitting required by timber frame construction. Available lengths run from 3.00 m to 6.00 m depending on the section, with specific sections and cutting lists produced to order. Fir/spruce is offered with use class 2 treatment (yellow or colourless) and Douglas fir treated or untreated. Sheeted packs, CE certification and visual grading to NF.
