CLT — cross-laminated timber
Description
The KLH panel, or CLT (Cross Laminated Timber), is a solid timber cross-laminated panel made up of crossed layers. With a thickness of 60 to 500 mm and dimensions of up to 2.95 m x 16.50 m, it offers great dimensional stability and remarkable mechanical, thermal and environmental performance. It fits perfectly into every type of construction: walls, floors, roof or waterproofing substrates, while adapting to seismic zones. Easy to combine with other materials such as concrete or steel, it makes it possible to build high-performance, durable buildings quickly. Features Panel thickness: from 60 to 500 mm Maximum dimensions: 2.95 m x 16.50 m Structure: longitudinal and transverse solid timber boards bonded under high pressure Certifications: CSTB technical approval (renewed in 2020) Performance: dimensional stability, mechanical strength, thermal and environmental insulation Suited to seismic zones: designed to withstand the structural stresses of at-risk areas Benefits Great versatility: suits every type of building (residential, commercial, educational, sports). Dimensional stability: the cross-laminated structure distributes the loads in two directions. Speed of execution: high energy performance buildings completed within short timescales. Environmentally friendly and bio-based: made from certified sustainable timber. Compatibility with other materials: can be combined with concrete, steel or timber to maximise performance. Suited to seismic zones: validated for safe construction in regions prone to earthquakes. Applications Load-bearing walls Floors and roof substrates Waterproofing substrates Construction in seismic zones Complex architectural projects calling for great design freedom
