Description

The Disto D1 is a pocket laser distance meter: 115 x 44 x 24 mm, only two buttons and a three-line backlit display, readable in the dark. It measures up to 40 metres with an accuracy of plus or minus 2 mm, and its IP54 rating protects it from dust and splashing water. Bluetooth Smart 4.0 sends the measurements to a smartphone or a tablet: the free Leica Disto Sketch app, on Android and iOS, transfers them onto a photo or a sketch ready to be passed on. The instrument has neither a tilt sensor nor a tripod thread, and it does not offer the Area function, available only on the D110, D2, X3, D5 and X6. It operates from 0 to +40 °C, is stored from -25 to +70 °C and comes with AAA batteries. The warranty is two years, extendable by one year after registration on Leica myWorld.
