Description
A new generation of the Leica best-seller, the Disto D2-2 is aimed at indoor surveys: building, fitting-out, architecture and renovation. Its range extends from 0.05 to 150 metres for an accuracy of 1.5 mm, and its memory holds up to 7,000 measurements. The four-line PMVA display shows several results without unnecessary handling. The folding end-piece is detected automatically by the instrument, which makes measurements taken from an edge, a corner or a hard-to-reach position more reliable and avoids costly errors. The Smart Horizontal Mode combines distance and inclination to return an exact horizontal distance even where an obstacle is in the way. For data transfer, the NFC chip talks to the Disto Plan app without pairing: simply bringing the instrument close to the smartphone is enough; Bluetooth remains available as an alternative. The Smart Room function generates scaled room plans. The housing is rated IP54 and runs on two AAA batteries. A storage pouch and batteries come with the instrument.
