Description
The Leica Disto D2G stands out for its green laser beam, four times more visible to the human eye than a red dot: an asset in very brightly lit interiors. Its stated range reaches 120 metres, with an accuracy of 1.5 mm and a memory of 5,000 measurements, of which the last thirty can be consulted directly. The four-line PMVA screen and the folding end piece with automatic position detection make surveys taken from an edge or a hard-to-reach corner reliable, which limits costly errors. The Smart Horizontal Mode and the other advanced functions are aimed at building, refurbishment and design professionals. The Smart Room function records distances and angles, which the Disto Plan application converts into floor plans to scale. Measurements are transferred by NFC or Bluetooth, which avoids re-entry. The device is rated IP54, powered by two AAA batteries, and supplied with a storage pouch and its batteries.
